The specialized training course on urban planning and development in Marib Governorate continues for 12 training days, with the participation of 20 trainees (6 females, 14 males) from local authorities, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
This initiative comes as part of the efforts by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Yemen) under the “Strengthening Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen (SIERY)” project, funded by the European Union in Yemen. The project aims to support local authorities in achieving sustainable development goals by enhancing the institutional and administrative capacities of local government members and empowering them in effective urban planning and management.
